Synopsis

Money, fame and English. In India, these 3 factors play a huge role in judging an individual. A woman felt insecure by her family due to her lack of English. One day on a trip to visit Manhattan she enrolls in an English class. Things make her determined to overcome this insecurity, master the language, teach the world a lesson on the way to becoming a confident woman.

Director : Gauri SHINDE

Born in 1974, she made over 100 ad films while working for advertising agencies. She also made short films such as Oh Man(2001) which was selected for Berlin Film Festival. Her first feature, English Vinglish was commercially successful. She is one of the most rising director of Bollywood.
