The morning radio show is always peaceful airing everyday life stories from the listeners. But one day, this peace is disturbed when one listener leaves a message that he would explode the Mapo Bridge. As the bridge is blown away exactly as he says, the whole broadcasting company turns into a total chaos to get a scoop. The closing film for this year"s edition of PiFan, The Terror Live, a film by Kim Byoung U is a thriller telling a story of a radio show host who happens to face and fight against the threat of the terrorist. The main character, an anchorman, Yoon Young Hwa played by Ha Jeong Woo, one of the leading actors in Korea, is to carry the bombing terror live on TV when the serial bombing happens on the Han River during his radio show program, which he happens to host after he is degraded from the main anchorman for the midnight news because of an accident. Interwinding the exterior where the explosion takes place and the closed space of the studio which makes the contrast of the spectacle, The Terror Live maintains the tensions and dynamics whole through the film through the delicate directing, well-written script and brilliant acting of the leading actor, HA who drives the energy till the very end. Awarded at the stage of the script a NAFF"s "it Project" in 2009, the project market which encourages the genre filmmaking, The Terror Live makes the meaningful premiere where the script was acknowledged and encouraged to move on.
