Synopsis

In 1987, Yonosuke has just moved to Tokyo for college. One day he meets Shoko, an eccentric rich girl, and soon they come to like. Juxtaposed against Yonosuke"s life are his friends sixteen years later. However, missing is the affable Yonosuke. Little do they know of the selfless tragedy that has befallen their “ordinary” friend.

Director : OKITA Shuichi

Born in 1977, he directed first feature, The Wonderful World(2006). After writing and directing TV dramas, he directed his second feature, The Chef of the South Polar(2009). His recent work, The Woodsman and the Rain(2011), won the Special Jury Prize at the 2011 Tokyo International Film Festival.
